Is there anything wrong with an 'African Americans for Obama' group?

I've been getting this video from readers for the past few weeks, all suggesting that there is something sinister with the "African Americans for Obama" group. They believe race should not be a part of any such campaign, that "Americans for Obama" would work better and said there would be outrage if there was a "White Americans for Romney" group.

I might deal with this fuller in a column this weekend but wanted to get the take of others. Is there something wrong with African Americans for Obama?

Here is the launch video for the group.

Here is the website.
