Which is true: Clint talks to chair; RNC uses Teleprompter for 3 nights; Obama has machine during family meal

Clint Eastwood starts a trend of interviewing empty chair, journalists follow.

Mose speakers during the 3-day Republican National Convention who took to the stage in prime time used the handy-dandy Teleprompter, which would not bear noticing if the GOP had not spent the past 4 years criticizing and ridiculing President Barack Obama for using the technology. Can we put that silly trope to rest right about now? Then again, maybe Eastwood should have used one. President Obama's camp had a nice fun retort to the empty chair bit.

However ... President Obama was caught using a Teleprompter during dinner, and it malfunctioned. The horror!
