Now this is getting a bit ridiculous, if it hadn't reached that point before.
The woman did something stupid and reckless. There are laws on the books for how that is to be handled. She should have been allowed to pay the fine or a night in jail or what have you and moved on. Now, though, maybe it's the judge who needs to stand on the side of the road with an "I'm an idiot judge for abusing my authority" sign.
