Members of Myrtle Beach area media years ago got together to raise funds in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Today, the same thing is going on for the victims of Hurricane (Superstorm) Sandy in the parking lot of Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach.
It began at 6 a.m. and will continue until 7 p.m. tonight. I'm scheduled to be on scene from 9 a.m. until noon. It's just a drop-in and you can donate as much or as little as you like.
