Now GOP is talking about serious outreach to blacks and Latinos

Huckabee slams GOP outreach to minority voters

Um, news flash for anyone not paying attention: The demographics in this country have been changing for awhile, with the number of non-white babies already outnumbering the amount of white babies born every year. It has been clear for awhile now that the Republican Party would need more than just white voters to win national races going forward. The only question was whether that would come to fruition during this election cycle or not until 2014 and 2016.

I have been trying to make this point, as have Sen. Lindsey Graham. Given all the talk about race on Fox News tonight so far, including Bill O'Reilly lamenting the fact that "traditional white America" is in the minority,  maybe other top Republicans will now acknowledge that fact and do actual outreach instead of what they have been doing, which has not been much.
