ESPN commentator apologizes for ill-advised race-tinged comments

Last week, an ESPN commentator essentially said the rookie phenom quarter Robert Griffin III isn't black enough, for a variety of, frankly, stupid reasons. It was some of the most sophomoric things I've heard about race in quite sometime, which is saying something.

He has since received a ton of backlash because of what he said.

He had the good sense to apologize today:
