Sanford releases first ad, telling voters 'we all make mistakes.' Will it work?

Sanford: "We all make mistakes"

Judging by the first few comments under the ad - on a conservative website - maybe people aren't as ready to forgive and forget as I had assumed.

But that's an extremely small sample. Maybe he'll be the First Congressional District representative once again. Remember: Newt Gingrich won the S.C. primary last year.

Oh, my next column will detail why I am really jealous of Charleston right now,  for the first time in my life.
