* The Chants can shoot. We had a pretty good idea they had that potential, but we really hadn't seen them win a game with the long ball this season. When Presbyterian packed the paint and gave the Chants no other choice, they did what they had to - they sank outside shots. Mario Edwards, Kierre Greenwood and Chad Gray also hit multiple 3-pointers, a good sign for a team that will certainly need such perimeter production down the stretch.
* I thought Kierre Greenwood played a great game. He scored just 10 points and shot only 3-for-9, but I thought he dominated the game at times from the point position. He hit 2-of-4 3-pointers and had five rebounds, three steals and two assists. He got to the rim at times. He hit jumpers. He dished to teammates. He also created several turnovers by playing great defense. His length is such a value to Coastal's backcourt.
* Mario Edwards went 7-for-10 and hit 4-of-5 3-pointers for 18 points. He also had a team-high four assists. He could be the key for the Chants down the stretch. He's been an up-and-down scorer for the last month or so, but Coastal certainly needs him to play well to help take pressure off Joseph Harris and Chad Gray.
