ESPN's Keith Law tabs CCU's Meo as high draft pick

ESPN baseball analyst Keith Law watched Coastal Carolina ace Anthony Meo pitch at Pepperdine last week and wrote online about the junior right-hander's draft potential, pegging him as a likely first-rounder.

"Based on what he showed over the first few innings, he looks extremely likely to go in the first round, probably in the top 20-25, as long as he maintains this type of stuff," Law wrote.

Law had him clocked at 93-96 MPH on his fastball -- "and there was more 96 than 93 to it" -- and 86-90 on his hard-biting slider.
