Junior quarterback Aramis Hillary did not practice again Tuesday for Coastal, but the X-rays he had on his ailing ankle came back negative, confirming the injury is nothing more than a bad sprain.
CCU coach David Bennett said the Chants have been getting senior Jamie Childers and redshirt-freshman Cody Craig ready to play significant roles at quarterback, though, in case Hillary is unavailable Saturday.
"Aramis is on crutches and in a boot, so we're working right now [with] Jamie and Cody Craig at quarterback," he said. "So we've got to be prepared to do that."
