Coastal's men's basketball game against Division III Cornell College on Dec. 27 has been moved from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., the school announced today.
Off to its best start since the early 1980s, Coastal Carolina's men's basketball team (8-2) received a vote in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll Monday.

Coastal seniors Joseph Harris and Logan Johnson did not start Saturday's win over Bridgewater, because they were late for a team meeting. There is nothing more to it than that. Both entered the game at the 15:41 mark of the first half and played more than 20 minutes each, combining for 32 points in a 91-42 win.
Coastal has moved the opening tip of Saturday's men's basketball home game against Allen from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The game would have conflicted with Clemson-South Carolina had it been played at its original time.

There was 1:11 left in Friday's game when Coastal guard Mario Edwards threw the perfect alley-oop pass to Joseph Harris, who slammed home a monster dunk that sealed a 70-59 win over the College of Charleston. Harris called it an "exclamation point." It might have been an awakening.
