Not only are these two talented and entertaining, Poppa Duke & Sista Otis have such beautiful souls and loving hearts. They are warm, friendly sincere folks that leaves you with a happy feeling inside whether it's through their music or through a casual conversation. What a better world this would be if we had more people like this Father and Daughter.

Dan Barnhart turned me on to your blog last night at the Pawleys Is. Tavern's "Songwriters' Circle". Glad to see interest in more than the standard beach venue fair.

I really identified with the Sista Otis piece, from a dad's perspective. I have the good fortune to be playing in duos and trios with my son, Daniel. My daughter Joan usually sings 5 or 6 songs, as well. I've been playing out for 40 years and none of my experiences have been as meaningful as being on stage with my offspring.

It's great to hear from you and see what you've been up to. In your blog I feel your enthusiasm for life. thank you.
