Sick of Paris Hilton?

Thanks for realizing that Paris Hilton's troubles are not Page one news. That, in essence, summarizes a comment from Myrtle beach artist Harry Love last week. Harry and several other city leaders met with some of us from The Sun News to discuss ideas and views on news coverage and other topics. We have published reports of Paris' woes generally on Page 2A, our daily spot for news from the entertainment world. In our view, nothing she's done to date has warranted front page news.

She has not broken the law any more than a good 12-20 million illegals have, many I might add that have not been put in jail for DUI and shoiuld have been. In fact there was a recent case where an illegal killed someone finally for doing what she has done. I believe she needed to spend a couple of days in jail but felt the judge was unfair in his treatment of her when so many are breaking our laws and getting away with it

Sick of Paris Hilton, absolutely. I had rather read of her donations to the needy, or how much time she spends at a homeless shelter helping others....or how many children she helped that needed special medical care.
Take the space and put local information, the poker run that a group of bikers did to help the widow of a friend, or a child that is dying of cancer, a doctor that takes time to come to a homeless shelter to treat the sick. What does Paris Hilton do?I have to be honest, I dont know of anything she does to promote this state or county.

I cannot believe our country gets entertained by looking into the lives of such immature, ignorant people (to put it nicely) like Paris Hilton. She is a disgrace. She doesn't know how to attribute to anything but what benefits herself.
