Heavy equipment has been digging large trenches in what will be the Suggs family's back yard.
A swimming pool? No. It's a septic field for the new house.
The earth-moving equipment has fallen silent for a while, and even the hammering has slowed outside the house, but we can see the crews still busy inside, their bright blue shirts and hardhats sometimes almost blurs as they bustle around checking details, climbing ladders, moving from room to room.
On the south side of the property, there's a wooded area from which you can see a bit of what's going on in front, a bit of what's going on in back, a bit of what's going on inside, as well as the crew members who are up on the home's new roof.
The area is well-trampled and it's easy to imagine the Suggs boys playing out there, close enough to feel safe at home, but far enough away to pretend they are in the wilds.
