Kristy McPherson of Conway was not one of the 32 players who qualified or were selected to play in this week's season-ending ADT Championship on the LPGA Tour, but this weekend will be the final opportunity for golf fans to watch Annika Sorenstam play in a meaningful tournament _ if you believe Sorenstam. The legend says she's retiring from competitive golf at the end of the week at the age of 38, ending a career that includes 72 wins and more than $22.5 million in earnings.
The first three rounds Thursday through Saturday will be aired on Golf Channel from 2-4 p.m., and NBC will televise Sunday's final round from 3-6 p.m. Golf Channel will also will re-air the first three rounds beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night. Players are vying for $1 million, the largest winner's check in women's golf.
