Though it's still very early in the year, time is running out for Grand Strand resident Dustin Johnson to accomplish some of his early-season goals. He liklely needs a win to get into the Masters and the first World Golf Championship event, the Accenture Match Play Championship at The Ritz Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain, in Marana, Ariz., Feb. 23-March 1. The top 64 players in the Official World Golf Ranking qualifying as of Monday, Feb. 16, and Johnson is ranked 135th in the Official World Golf Ranking entering this week's Buick Invitational. He plans is entered this week and said prior to the start of the season he planned to play next week in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Johnson has finished 11th and tied for 66th, and has missed a cut in his first three events. He has until the week prior to the April 9-12 Masters to win and get into the season's first major.
