Ed Gore, who owns Oyster Bay Golf Links and is a partner in Sea Trail Resort and its three golf courses, refuted rumors he was purchasing Marsh Harbour Golf Links from LaDane Williamson. Gore said he has had no discussions at all about buying the course, which has been closed since 2002. The rumor apparently gained momentum when someone stated it on a Grand Strand golf message board.

That message board is full of blowhard know it alls who are 99% of the time wrong. Tom Aliff from Maryland broke this rumor and deserves the blame.
