A couple U.S. Open-related sites worth a peek

Since I can't be at Bethpage Black this year, I thought I'd provide a couple of the more interesting blogs and twitters from the site of the U.S. Open.
Dan Jenkins is one of my favorite authors, having written Semi-Tough and a number of golf books including Dead Solid Perfect. Jenkins is a talented humorist and should provide an interesting perspective from the Open. His twitter is viewable now and through all four tournament rounds.
For the fifth consecutive year, Golf Course Management magazine will be providing live updates from the perspective of the maintenance staff. Updates will include player reaction to course conditions and updates on key golf course maintenance metrics such as green speeds and mowing heights. GCM's blog is called From the Desk of GCM. Visitors will have access to video tours of the maintenance facilities at Bethpage, audio excerpts from some of superintendent Craig Currier's interviews with the media and written updates on golf course maintenance activities at the Open, updated several times daily.
