Actor Craig T. Nelson, best known for his role on the television show ``Coach'', and Dan Hampton, a 12-year member of the Chicago Bears, are among the latest celebrities to commit to the second annual Know Your Score: Fight Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament and Gala.
The event is being held Aug. 29 at Kingston Plantation and Long Bay Club in North Myrtle Beach. Playing opportunities are available but the tournament is not open to spectators.
Other recent commitments include Weather Channel meteorologist Jim Cantore, former Cincinnati Red and 11-year Major League baseball veteran Doug Flynn, and Golf Channel personality Charlie Rymer.
Three celebrities returning for a second year are College of Charleston basketball coach Bobby Cremins, Wes Matthews, a member of the 1986 and 1987 Los Angeles Lakers World Championship teams, and Tony Womack, a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks 2001 World Championship team. Hampton was a member of the Bears' 1985 Super Bowl championship team.
Previously announced celebrities include: 2009 Know Your Score National Spokesperson and Syracuse University basketball coach Jim Boeheim, 2008 Honorary Chairperson Ken Griffey, Sr., saxophonist Branford Marsalis, ESPN billiards commentator and prostate cancer survivor Mitch Laurance, and 2008 World Trick Shot champion and World 9-Ball champion Ewa Mataya Laurance.
A foursome in the celebrity golf tournament combined with eight tickets to the gala costs a $900 donation to the Know Your Score: Fight Prostate Cancer campaign. A foursome in the tournament is $400, and table of eight at the gala is $750. Individual entries in the tournament or tickets to the gala are $100 each.

Cocktails and bidding on silent auction items at the gala will begin at 6:30 p.m., dinner is at 7:30 p.m., and a post-dinner ``Locker Room Chat'' with Boeheim and other celebrities will be hosted by Mitch Laurance.
