Expect McPherson to make a move

Kristy McPherson is going to be in about 90th place at the conclusion of Friday's first round of the P&G beauty NW Arkansas Championship at Pinnacle Country Club after shooting a 2-over 73. But if past performances the tournament are an indication, expect her to make a charge.
McPherson was tied for first among professionals as an LPGA Tour rookie in the event in 2007 after the tournament was canceled following the first round. She tied for fourth last year to post what was then her best finish on tour.
She enters the event playing pretty well, with three consecutive top 30s in individual tournaments, including a tie for 10th in last week's Canadian Women's Open.
