Friends of John Erlenbach, including me, are gathering Sunday (June 6) at Bodo’s German Restaurant at 407 8th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach for a German Brunch Benefit for Erlenbach, who has been battling cancer for several years. Anyone interested in helping a good guy who has contributed greatly to the Myrtle Beach golf industry should stop by for some food and drinks and drop off a donation.
Erlenbach is the executive producer of the Links Illustrated golf instruction television show that has showcased Grand Strand courses for 20 years. It has aired on stations throughout the nation and in sevearl countries.
The menu will include Bodo’s special imported German Sausage Sampler, German Potato Salad, Champagne Kraut and Pumpernickel Breads. Beverages will be provided by New South Brewery and others and there will be lilve entertainment from local musicians. Raffle and silent auction items are being accepted.
