Sun News Ribar tournament upcoming

As of now, there are still playing spots open for The Sun News Educational Foundation tournament on Tuesday, June 22 at Pine Lakes Country Club. The event has a 10 a.m. shotgun start. 

A Continental breakfast and registration will begin at 9 a.m., and food will be served following the tournament.

An entry fee of $100 includes practice balls, gifts, food and non-alcoholic beverages. All players must have a handicap, teams will be preflighted and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each flight.

For information, contact Carol Blonowicz at 843-444-1709. All proceeds will be donated to The Sun News Educational Foundation, which provides college scholarships for area high school seniors. The tournament is in honor of the late John Ribar, who was a long-time golf columnist for The Sun News.
