Johnson has plenty of support at East Lake

Dustin Johnson is seeing some familiar faces when he looks to the galleries during his rounds this week during The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.

His girlfriend, Amanda Carter, has walked all 18 of each of his first two rounds, as has his maternal grandfather, Art Whisnat. Joe Rice, a Charleston attorney who is Johnson's playing partner in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am was present for Friday's round, as was a married couple from the Atlanta area who housed Johnson when he played in the Dogwood Amateur. They brought some friends with them to follow Johnson and playing partner Bo Van Pelt on Friday.

More of Johnson's family and friends are expected this weekend, including his mother, Kandee. Carter, Kandee Johnson and a few others will also be accompanying Johnson to the Ryder Cup in Wales next week, as well.
