Coastal Carolina alumnus and former Myrtle Beach resident Dustin Johnson is paired with world No. 8 Paul Casey of England and 2005 Wells Fargo champion Vijay Singh. They go off the first tee in Thursday’s first round at 12:50 p.m. and off the 10th tee in Friday’s second round at 7:40 a.m.
Johnson is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Ballantine's Championship in Korea on Sunday.
The quick turnaround from Korea to Charlotte hasn’t affected him, he said.
“I got back Sunday night, so I've had plenty of time to rest,” he said. “I don't really get too much jet lag. I'm fortunate. Whether I'm going over there or coming back, usually you figure out if you need to sleep or not sleep so you can get on the right time schedule.”
