Kessler back on the road for Golf Road Warriors

When I interviewed Peter Kessler for a story during the Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship in August, I asked him what he’d like to do next. The host of Sirius/XM Radio's Making the Turn had gone on a trip to Ireland in July sponsored by the TheAPosition.com – a site featuring golf and travel writers – and was interested in going on another one.

That time has come, and Kessler is joining three other journalists on a trip to Scottsdale, Ariz., from Nov. 28-Dec. 4 for a weeklong golf road adventure. The writers will create and broadcast daily original content via a collection of websites, print media, social media, podcasts, and radio that will be further disseminated by sponsor partners.

The content will include course and equipment reviews; opinion pieces; travel stories and videos; and the sharp observations and commentary of Kessler and his cohorts. Golf Road Warriors: Scottsdale will also feature Tom Bedell, Jeff Wallach, and Terry Moore as they go through the Sonoran Desert staying in world-class accommodations, playing half a dozen desert golf venues, and frightening roadrunners and coyotes with errant shots.

““Even though I ended up in the hospital on the first Golf Road Warriors trip to Ireland, I’m ready to take this show on the road to Scottsdale, home to some of the best desert golf courses on the planet,” Kessler said.

The adventure can be followed at Golf Road Warriors.com and theAposition.com. The next installment of Golf Road Warriors will be coming in February.
