Myrtle Beach native Ramon Sessions changes agents

According to the Ohio News Herald, Myrtle Beach native Ramon Sessions has changed agents.

According to the story, "Cavs guard Ramon Sessions has changed agents. He dropped Chubby Wells and signed with Jared Karnes, co-founder and director of basketball operations for Allegiant Athletic Agency in Knoxville, Tenn."

Tryout info for S.C. Warriors basketball, dance tryouts (changes)

According to the South Carolina Warriors' Facebook page, there has been a change to the tryout schedule, which is now JUST this Saturday.

Posted on the page it said: "Just a quick correction...tryouts are now ONLY on Sat. Sept. 10, 10am-noon. And we will be in MB Thur Sept. 8th and returning to Indy on Sept. 11th."

Tryouts were originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

As for those trying out for the dance team or those who haven't heard, the Facebook page said dance team tryouts are also Saturday at Terry and Don's Gymnastics from 2 to 4 p.m.

Also, according to a YouTube video for the Warriors, they will host the Carolina Jaguars in their opener Nov. 18 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Street Basketball Association founder and CEO Jerrod Mustaf has a roster full of former NBA players. The question is, will he soon have a roster full of current NBA players who are locked out?

The idea has been brought up, and the street basketball option could be appealing to some, especially considering it wouldn't be overseas.

Mustaf sent me this CBS sportsline story that mentions the SBA as a possible suitor: Opportunities missed as players try to market themselves (the mention of the SBA is a little ways down; search for the name Rosner and it'll take you straight to it. He's the director of basketball for the SBA.)
