Carolina Forest High School standout Chris Ford has made his collegiate choice: junior college Western Oklahoma State.
Ford, the 2009 Toast of the Coast Boys Basketball Player of the Year, will sign with the school at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Ford said it was originally scheduled for Friday, but got pushed back.
While Ford is moving on to a great opportunity to play collegiate ball, he said "I know I'm going to miss the beach."
