Myrtle Beach native Ramon Sessions averaged 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and .8 steals in 27 minutes per game for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the preseason.
Sessions started five of eight games and shot 44 percent from field. Sessions capped the exhibition season with a 26-point effort against his former team, the Milwaukee Bucks, on Thursday.
The Cavaliers open the season by hosting the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. Wednesday night. Sessions figures to come off the bench as long as All-Star point guard Mo Williams is healthy.
