Former Coastal Carolina standout E.J. Gallup will continue his professional career back where he has spent some of his best in the past: Germany.
Gallup signed with TBB Trier of the top league in Germany on Tuesday, as he had expected.
He posted on Facebook: "Signed a deal w TBB Trier in the top league in Germany today!! I really want to thank everyone for the support, means the world. Super focused and its time to go to work!!"
Gallup is coming off a season with the Albany Legends of the IBL after taking a year off following a successful stint in Germany.
The former Myrtle Beach resident is receiving plent of support on the social media site.
Fifty-six "likes" and 31 comments later he posted: "Ha Like I said the support is crazy...thanks again to everyone, when I get over there and settled in ill keep everyone updated on how to watch games live on the internet and follow our team and everything. Excited to meet my new teammates and see my new home of Trier and get this crackin!"
