Ellis' best coaching job?

CCU's Cliff Ellis has coached college basketball 33 years. He has won over 600 college games. By the numbers this season doesn’t seem special for Ellis. A 13-12 mark, 6-6 in conference play. But as we know the Chanticleers are without their top three athletes in Joshua Mack, Everage Richardson and Joseph Harris. They have gutted this thing out using every defense, every quick panacea short of duct tape.

So the question we pose is this Ellis’ best coaching job? A coach who has won SEC and ACC titles.

UNC Charlotte coach Bobby Lutz believes it is.

And where does this rank as a coaching performance in the history of Coastal Carolina?
