Pro Day update
Some sights and sounds, well just sights, from pro day ....
Jerome Simpson improved his vertical jump from his outing at the NFL Combine. He had a 41 1/2-inch jump Wednesday morning in the CCU weight room to impress the collection of scouts on hands. In the route-running drill, Simpson dropped several balls, which clearly frustrated him while working with Cincinnati Bengals receivers coach Mike Sheppard, but also made several catches of the spectacular variety. Simpson did not run the 40 after impressive runs of 4.43 and 4.47 seconds at the NFL Combine.
Mike Tolbert clearly improved his stock with a 37-inch vertical jump and a 4.7 time in the 40, which was run on grass at the CCU practice field. Tolbert benched 225 pounds 24 times and caught the ball well in the receiving drills. He appeared, however, to injury his hamstring late in the workout.
Other unofficial 40-yard dash times for the Chants include: Santini Washington (4.6), Tony Byrd (4.89) and Adrain Grady (5.5).

I was wondering who posted the fastest time at Coastal Carolina's pro day the 28th of march. From a little research, come to find out Trevino Pope posted a 4.4 40 time with a head wind. So why was he not mentioned on the Coastal Carolina website. This kid was also this number 90 that everyone down played and tried not to talk about, so can someone tell me why this alabama transfer is being over looked.

Why are the other kids being overlooked as well? We all know that Jerome is a great player and Jerome would not be Jerome if it were not for his team. Let us do the right thing people and give credit where credit is due!
Every team has a "grease" man that sacrifices themselves for the greater good!
