Wednesday readings on health care

Here's a collection of articles I've run across today on the health-care debate. I'll add more later in the day if I get a chance.

A look at one of the more popular elements of health-care reform, requiring everyone to participate. Note that the idea was first tried by Mitt Romney in Massachussetts:

Now a Democrat's take on one of the more controversial items, the public option and its relation to single-payer health care. Polling shows slightly more than half of Americans support a public option, though I'm sure the numbers for full single payer are far lower.

Finally, here's two recent Gallup polls on the issue:
