Well, not exactly fishing - my kids are still so young I'd spend more energy trying to keep them out of the water than I would putting bait into it - but close enough. Just wanted to let my friends on The Opinion Blog know I'll be out of town on vacation for a week, so if you holler at me and I don't respond, that's why.
I'll be leaving The Opinion Blog in the exceedingly capable hands of Laura Baltes, the editor who assembles the TSN editorial page each day and who already posts your daily cartoon extras. She's one of the few people I know nicer than Sunny, so please keep it clean while I'm gone.
Other than that, if I know you guys, the conversation won't miss a beat in my absence. See you all in a week.
