Paul Thurmond: "That comment of 'legacy' is really inconsistent with what I've lived."

As the June 8 primary draws near, we have a pretty significant backlog of videos we've shot during editorial-board interviews with candidates.

I'm going to be posting a number of these over the next few days, in no particular order. Here's Paul Thurmond, who spoke to us May 12.

Below the video, see a list of questions addressed in it.

  • 1:43 How does your biography separate you from the other candidates?
  • 11:09 What is your commitment to Myrtle Beach, since the district is likely to be split in 2012?
  • 13:52 What priorities do you see in Horry County?
  • 15:10 Describe your concrete plans to get I-73 built.
  • 16:54 What would you support toward long-term deficit reduction?
  • 23:45 What are your thoughts on offshore drilling, as representative of a coastal district?
  • 28:44 Are you more of a Lindsey Graham or Jim DeMint Republican, and who do you like for President in 2012?
  • 35:08 How will you define success at the end of your first term?
  • 39:46 What do you think of Arizona's new immigration law?
  • 43:21 Is there anything else you'd like to discuss?
