John Brown of Marion plans to race again today hours after he was released from Conway Hospital on Saturday following a frightening crash in the Limited Late Model race that left him unconscious.
Brown rammed into the car of Jackie Ward coming out of Turn 2 on the 11th lap of the race. Brown had to be cut out of his car before being taken to the hospital.
“I was wide open coming out of the corner,” Brown said.
Brown said he is sore today but plans to race in the Don Brewer Memorial 100 Super Trucks race.
John Brown I thought they said he could never race there again because of the crashes he causes ,,looks like he took his self this time,,

Johns a good level headed guy, but when he gets to the race track, his personality seems to change. Hes a guy, that will do whatever it takes to win. Passing on the outside without backing out the throttle to spinning someone out. Hes a good driver, just rough. He's pissed a bunch of people off, but im sure none of them wish harm on him. His qualifying run Saturday is of worthy mention. I don't know if it was driving or just really good luck, but he kept it out the wall, never backing out the gas.
