Sen. John McCain, who boasts of taking politically damaging positions, declared his hatred for golf as his campaign bus drove through one of the hottest golf markets in the world.
"I hate golf," he muttered on the bus as he fiddled with the remote looking for a real game, like football. "Churchill said, it’s a good walk wasted."

What a dolt! It was Mark Twain that said 'Golf is a good walk spoiled'. And I agree with Twain.

Yes, it was a Twain quote. Churchill said, "[Golf] is like chasing a quinine pill around a cow pasture."
