Local player nominated for weekly award

Carolina Forest baseball player Justin Turbeville is one of five nominees for this week's "No Spit" all-star award, which is given to players that shine on the field and pledge not to use tobacco products off it.

Turbeville hit .600 last week with a home run, double and five RBIs for the Panthers, who went 1-1 in their first two playoff games.
