Conway to broadcast baseball game
The city of Conway will give Conway baseball fans a chance to listen to Monday night's baseball game at either Stratford or Summerville on the city's public access TV channel.
The Tigers open the Class AAAA Lower State tournament on Saturday at home against Wando at 6:30 p.m. Win or lose they will travel to either Stratford or Summerville on Monday.
Conway graduate Ashley Smith, who works on Conway's football broadcasts, will team up with former Socastee assistant coach Chris Summer to provide the broadcast for those unable to make the trip to the Lowcountry.
The city's public channel is No. 9 on HTC and No. 15 on Time Warner. The advertisements will continue to scroll across the screen, but the audio will be the game broadcast instead of the usual music.

Thanks for the stats, I had been curious about those.
Tigers have really looked good this year, I hope they can keep it going.
The bats aren't as hot as the were in the Mingo Bay Classic, but with the
pitching they have been getting they have not need as much offence. That may
change Saturday night with Wando coming to town. I feel like they will step it
up a notch starting Saturday and get the bats going again. GOOD LUCK TIGERS!
