Seeking your input
I have returned from my summer sabatical, which gave me some time to decompress after a busy 2007-08 school year and some time to consider our coverage for the 2008-09 school year.
Football is just weeks away in South Carolina - practice begins August 1 - and our sports staff is finalizing our coverage for this fall. We would like to hear your recommendations for how we can better serve our readership online and in print. We will further expand our presence online this fall and have toyed with a number of ideas that may allow you to better connect with other fans.
What would you like to see in our coverage? Are there things we such add or get rid of?
Also, are there any interesting tidbits or stories that I should consider writing this fall? This includes all sports.
Any input would be appreciated as we move forward. Thanks for the help.
As I have said before, all sports that are regulated by the SCHSL should be covered, including competitive cheerleading. Actually attending competitions and giving some scores would be nice. There are some teams from the grand strand that finished ranking 6th and 7th in the state last year. The girls need some coverage.
