This is a pretty good rivalry week. Myrtle Beach-Conway is obviously the highlight but Carvers Bay-Hemingway and West Brunswick-South Brunswick are fierce rivals and even Socastee-Carolina Forest is a pretty good one.
It's hard to believe how much the roles have reversed in the Myrtle Beach-Conway rivalry. But while Myrtle Beach was down for a long time, don't expect Conway to do the same as long as Chuck Jordan is coaching there. As much as they say you can throw records out the window in a rivalry game, I can't see Conway keeping it very close, especially after what Marlboro County did to the Tigers. Although, I am sure Marlboro was looking to stick it to Conway when they had the chance, and I doubt Mickey Wilson will be looking to rub it in on his former coach, but the Seahawks are the equal if not a better team than Marlboro. For those that can't make it out to the game, don't forget there is live video of the game at htcnetracer.net.
