Playoff pairings for South Carolina Class AAAA and all of North Carolina have been released. Conway and West Brunswick (N.C.) both earned spots while South Columbus (N.C.) and Carolina Forest were left out.
Conway (5-6) is a 12th seed in the upper portion of the Class AAAA, Division II bracket and will travel to fifth-seed North Augusta for the first round.
North Augusta is 10-1 on the season, with its only loss a 31-24 setback to Irmo. The winner of that game will play the winner of fourth-seed Goose Creek and 13th-seed Lancaster Berkeley is the top seed in the bracket.
West Brunswick (7-3) is a fourth seed in the Class 3AA East bracket. The Trojans will host 13th-seed Chapel Hill (5-6) in the first round and would host a second round game if they win. They would face the winner of fifth-seed Westover and 12th-seed Douglas Byrd. South Johnston is the top seed in the East bracket and would be the Trojans’ potential third-round opponent.
The only other area teams left in the playoffs are Myrtle Beach, Socastee and Carvers Bay.
