The S.C. Baseball Coaches Association Preseason rankings have been released and a pair of area teams are among the top 10 in their classifications.
St. James is ranked No. 4 in Class AAA, behind No. 1 Belton-Honea Path, Riverside and South Aiken.
Andrews will enter the season at No. 9 in Class AA. Bishop England is first, and Chesnee, Mid-Carolina, Gilbert and Hanahan round out the top five.
No area teams were named in the Class AAAA and Class AAA rankings.
