Two Carolina Forest baseball players sign to play college ball

Carolina Forest senior baseball players Matt Archer and Travis Parker signed with colleges last week.

Archer, a catcher, signed to play at USC-Aiken. Heading into last weekend, Archer had a .293 batting average with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, 20 runs scored, 16 walks and 5 doubles. He is a three-year starter for the Panthers.


Parker, a shortstop, signed to play at USC-Sumter. He entered last weekend with a .304 batting average, 2 homers, 14 RBIs, 16 runs scored and 11 doubles. He is a three-year letterman for the Panthers,
