Andrew Power, who played high school football at Myrtle Beach High School, committed to play at the University of Tennessee as part of the Volunteers’ 2011 recruiting class, his father Chuck Power said in a text message to The Sun News. The news was also confirmed by InsideTennessee.com.

The South Carolina Select baseball team and the North-South All-Star baseball teams have been announced.
The North-South event features four teams: AAAA/A and AAA/AA teams for both the North and South. The South Carolina Select team will play a North Carolina Select squad, whose roster has not been made available.
