Mingo Bay Classic: Tournament VI scores/schedules

One more round for the Mingo Bay Classic this week. The sixth and final tournament is April 25-29. I'll get scores and updated schedules up here as soon as I get them.

Myrtle Beach boys soccer leads local contingent in latest coaches poll (April 23)

The South Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association released its latest poll Saturday. Four area boys teams, led by Myrtle Beach at No. 2 in Class AAA, and three area girls teams, led by St. James at No. 6 in AAA, made it into this week's rankings.

Mingo Bay Classic baseball tournament: Week 2 scores/schedules

The schedules for the four tournaments being held this week as part of the Mingo Bay Classic are below and scores will be updated nightly as they become available. Thursday and Friday’s games will be determined after pool play is completed Wednesday. Tournament I was played April 4-8. Note for Thursday's and Friday's games: A bracket games are for pool winners, B bracket games are for second-place teams from pool play, C bracket for third place and D bracket for fourth place. Friday's site and game times will be updated when available.

The second of the three weeks of games that will comprise the 2011 Grand Strand Softball Classic is this week, April 18-22. The scores and schedules are below. Daily scores will be updated as they become available.

Mingo Bay Classic baseball tournament scores/schedule



The first of five brackets that make up the annual Mingo Bay Classic baseball tournament began Monday, April 4 and runs through Friday, April 8. Socastee is the only Grand Strand team competing in this week’s event.
