As expected Myrtle Beach (4-1) lost its spot atop Class AAA in the S.C. Prep Football Media Poll, released Tuesday. The Seahawks dropped to No. 3 in the division after Friday's 21-12 loss at Conway.
Meanwhile, the Tigers (5-1) moved into the top 10 in Class AAAA for the first time this season. Andrews (5-0) also moved into the rankings at the Class AA level for the first time this season. Andrews would likely jump even higher with a win at No. 4 Timberland this week.
Both teams are ranked No. 10 in their respective divisions.

A close win over a Class AAAA school was enough to keep Myrtle Beach ranked No. 1 in the Class AAA rankings of the S.C. Prep Football Media Poll, released Tuesday afternoon.
The Seahawks remain the lone Grand Strand team in the top 10 of the any class rankings. In other news, Myrtle Beach dipped to No. 25 in the USA Today Super 25 national poll after that 31-24 victory over South Florence.

There were few major changes to this week's S.C. Prep Football Media Poll, released Tuesday morning.
Myrtle Beach, the lone area team in the top 10 of any of the state's four classes, remained No. 1 in Class AAA after beating West Florence on the road last week.
Hemingway, one of Carvers Bay's biggest rivals, moved up to No. 1 in the Class A rankings.
