Myrtle Beach moved up two spots in most recent S.C. Prep Football Media Poll, released Tuesday.
The Seahawks defeat St. James on Friday night to improve to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in Region VIII-AAA. Loris and Andrews also improved by one spot each in the Class AA poll. The Lions (No. 6 in the class) have a huge game at Dillon on Friday. Andrews (No. 9) has a home game against Manning.
Myrtle Beach's scare against Socastee last Friday night cost the Seahawks a one-spot drop in the most recent S.C. Prep Football Media Poll, released Tuesday afternoon.
The Seahawks, who spent much of the season at No. 1 in Class AAA, now sit at No. 4 in the division.
Loris, meanwhile, shot up three spots in Class AA to No. 7, while Andrews, which had dropped out of the Class AA poll last week, returned to No. 10.
Conway is on the move in the S.C. Prep Football Media Poll. The Tigers, despite an off week last Friday, moved up two spot in the Class AAAA rankings.
Andrews, which was defeated 40-0 by Timberland on Friday, dropped out of the rankings in Class AA. However, another Grand Strand team, Loris, moved in. The Lions are now 6-0 in advance of their home game on Friday against Waccamaw. Myrtle Beach, which spent the first four weeks of the season at No. 1, remained at No. 3 in Class AAA for the second consecutive week.
