Myrtle Beach is a little over 29 hours away from its Lower State title appearance against Darlington in the Florence Civic Center.
It will be the Seahawks’ first trip this far into the playoffs since it won the 2008 state title. It will be a match-up of two teams ranked in the top five in the Class AAA, and it should be every bit the track meet some are expecting.
“That’ll be fun,” Seahawks coach Craig Martin said. “We want to run. If they want to run, we’re all about it. We’ll run all night. When it comes down to getting the ball up and down the court, that’s something that we encourage.”
