Loris football fans have plenty to be excited about after an impressive defensive performance Friday night in a 14-7 win over North Myrtle Beach.
In two weeks, the Lions have now allowed just 14 points against a pair of Class AAA programs, one of which was expected to compete for a region title. But what's next for Jamie Snider's team? From everything we've seen so far, Loris is now a favorite to start 4-0 in advance of the team's Sept. 26 game at Georgetown.
We know the Lions won't look at it this way - teams don't experience sustained success by looking past opponents - but fans can go ahead and circle that game against the Bulldogs and then the Week 9 match-up at home against Dillon.
