Football stat leaders, through Week 4

A handful of huge individual performances means three new leaders in the top four offensive categories this week.

Drayton Arnold's 256-yard, five-touchdown performance against Carolina Forest last week has the Myrtle Beach quarterback now atop the area's leaders' list for passing yards (879) and touchdowns (13). The junior could stretch those leads based on the fact that Myrtle Beach's air attack is starting to fine-tune and the Seahawks have already had their off week. The people directly behind Arnold in both categories have byes next week.

Conway junior Bryan Edwards has also vaulted into the top spot for receiving yards, while North Myrtle Beach's Colby Gore and Carolina Forest's James Long also moved up the list.

Aynor senior Kamron Johnson maintained a 162-yard lead in the rushing category despite the Blue Jackets not playing last week. That may be about the only thing that slows him down, as even the impending return of Daquan Smith probably won't hurt Johnson's numbers too much.
